Search Commands

HELP CONTENT Although there are a number of different search commands on Bidbuysell, once you have a go at using them, you'll soon find them easy to use and very useful. Type single words like: Armani suit grey Results will contain: All matches containing the three words in any order Type words within quotation marks: "Da Vinci Code" Results will contain: Items with words in that order Type a minus sign before the word to omit it from the search: curtains -purple Results will contain: Listings for curtains that do not contain the word purple Type a minus sign before brackets that contain the words (separated by commas not spaces) that you want omitted: aftershave - (aramis,brut,spray) Results will contain: All listings containing aftershave but not the words aramis, brut or spray Type words in brackets, separated by commas not spaces: (Honda,Kawasaki) Results will contain: Listings featuring either of those words Type multiple forms of the same words: car, ute, 4WD, motorcar, vehicle Results will contain: All listings containing those words Remember that spelling and nouns vary not only internationally but also regionally in Australia. 'Bathers' in Victoria are 'Cozzies' in New South Wales Some people will call a 'gold' mirror, a 'gilt' mirror Some people will call a 'sofa', a 'couch'
