| Paying the Seller | |
| HELP CONTENT Always read what payment options a seller offers before bidding on an item! There are lots of ways you can pay a seller for an item, as long as they have stipulated that you can do so in the item description. NEVER send cash. Not only is there no way to trace a cash payment but you immediately cancel the opportunity to be covered by Bidbuysell's Buyer Protection Program. The two easiest ways are by PayPal or Credit Card. PayPal allows transactions to be done by credit card but means that the seller never sees your credit card number. It's by far one of the safest ways to complete transactions on the internet. You may also pay sellers by personal cheques, bank cheques or money orders however you will have to wait for the funds to clear before the buyer sends your item. If you are bidding on an expensive item, say for example an antique valued at over $400, we suggest you use an Escrow service. If you do you banking online, then a direct deposit is also an option, although funds can be difficult to recover in fraud cases. Bidbuysell does not recommend the use of Instant cash wire services and these are not covered in the Buyer Protection Program. |
