How to Avoid Unpaid Items

The easiest way to make sure Sellers are paid for an item is to make sure that payment is made as easy as possible for buyers.

Make sure you offer PayPal to buyers

Include as much information as possible to buyers with regard to postage and handling.

List your payment length terms in your listing. For example: 'Payment required within 3 days of end of auction'

For buyers:

Always remember that once you bid on an item, you have entered into a legally binding agreement with the seller.

Make sure you carefully read all the buyer's instructions in the listing and pay attention to their criteria, such as, 'For local pick up only', 'Australia only'.

Make sure that you change your member details if you move residence or change postal addresses.
