HELP CONTENT
When interested in an item, DO NOT assume anything about the item that is not in the description. ALWAYS ask the seller a question or questions.
Always check the seller's history by reading the feedback that other buyers have left for them.
If an item is of high value, BidBuySell recommends using an Escrow Service.
Make sure the item you are bidding on is legal and allowed. If in doubt you should read BidBuySell's prohibited, questionable and infringing items.
If you do not have an idea of what the item is worth, search for identical or similar items on BidBuySell.
Understand what 'placing maximum bid means'. This way of bidding means that your bid will automatically be raised when someone else bids on an item until it reaches the maximum amount you have committed to paying.
If the item has a Buy It Now option and the price is right, consider utilising the option if the item is one that you especially want immediately.
Remember that while BidBuySell is lots of fun, bidding is serious and any placed bid means that you are obliged to pay for the item if won. If you're not sure that you really want an item, DON'T BID!
