How do I check my Account Status?

Your account status details your seller's activity. To access your account status details, simply go to My BidBuySell and click on "View Account Status"

Here you may view all accounting transactions you have made. These will include payments, BidBuySell fees, fee credits and your current balance

Am I allowed to retract my bid?

A bid retraction means that your bid is deleted from the auction. Keep in mind that when you make a bid, you enter a contract and if you are the highest bid at the end of the auction, you are obliged to pay the seller.

In special circumstances, a bid may be retracted:

  • Incorrect entry of a bidding figure. For example, you enter $110.00 instead of $11.00. Note: You will always be asked to confirm a bid, so make sure you have entered the correct amount!
  • The seller suddenly changes the item description.
  • The seller is unreachable after you have won the auction.
  • You place a bid and then wish to retract it before the last 12 hours of the auction.
This must be done within one hour of placing the bid.
  • If you wish to retract a bid during the last twelve hours you may ask the seller to do so, however it is at their discretion whether they agree to do so

All confirmed bid retractions will be displayed in the ratings section of your profile.

You may initiate a bid retraction by using the Bid Retraction form.

Bid retractions do not apply to Buy it Now items.
